The department was established in the year 1970. The courses offered by the department are of UG and PG level. We have Annual system at UG level and semester system at PG level. The teaching staff is highly qualified asMA, MPhil&Ph.D.Department has many Publications at National and international level. The results of the students at UG and PG level is satisfactory. Department is continuously involved in continuous comprehensive evaluation of students& project work. The faculty member are the teacher guardian of the students at UG and PG level and provide valuable guidance to the students. Beside teaching ,the department of Economics is actively involved in other activities such as scholarship, NSS, youth Festival etc.
