The Department of Chemistry, Govt. Girls College, Vidisha, has offer a three-year Bachelor’s program in Chemistry since 1983 and Master’s program from 2020. The Masters course in Chemistry provides advanced knowledge and skills in chemistry and research in order to strengthen the teaching of chemistry and research in higher education. The program balances theory with application and gives students the chance to begin independent research using the laboratories in the Chemistry department. Department of Chemistry has qualified and experienced teachers, a well-equipped laboratory and a great library as well.
